Amber Rose flaunted her curvaceous figure beneath a Laura Dewitt chain-link ‘dress’ on the red carpet of the MTV VMAs in Inglewood Sunday. The 30-year-old actress seemed to be paying homage to the famed chain-link mesh creation that Rose McGowan rocked at the 1998 MTV VMAs.
The metallic fringe showcased the tattooed video vixen’s derriere, which kept an illusion of modesty – at least when compared to McGowan’s outrageous version alongside then-boyfriend Marilyn Manson. After the ceremony, Amber publicly thanked her 40-year-old muse, tweeting: ‘Thank u @rosemcgowan for being a fabulous trendsetter u were truly my inspiration tonight!’
The Jawbreaker diva replied: ‘Happily passing the torch to @muvarosebud #amberrose ignore the hand wringers. #punkasf*** #unapologetic @mtv’. Amber’s strand-strewn frock could barely contain her ample charms, which exposed her taut tummy, strong thighs, and substantial rear.
Joining the buzzcut blonde outside The Forum was her husband Wiz Khalifa, whose song Dem Boyz was nominated for best hip-hop video. The 26-year-old rapper – born Cameron Jibril Thomaz – lost the Moon Man to Drake’s song Hold On (We’re Going Home) featuring Majid Jordan.
Rose – born Levonchuck – celebrated her one-year wedding anniversary with Wiz and their 18-month-old son Sebastian last month. The five-time Grammy nominee won’t stay at the VMAs long since he has his Under the Influence of Music Tour tonight at Irvine’s Verizon Wireless Amphitheater
