American actress and model Lauren Bacall died at the age of 89 on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 after suffering a massive stroke. Bacall was a Hollywood star known for her romance and marriage to Humphrey Bogart and for her sultry presence onstage and in front of cameras for over 50 years.
